The main objective of starting this scheme by the Haryana government is to provide housing at low prices to the poor families of urban areas. Such families who do not have their own houses and are living on rent. Such families whose annual income is less than Rs 180,000 can apply under this scheme and get housing facility. Plots and flats will be allotted under this scheme. The main objective of starting this scheme by the Haryana government is to improve the standard of living of poor families.

What will be the price of flat and plot?

Under this scheme, housing colonies will be built in Panchkula, Gurugram, Sonipat and Faridabad by the Haryana Government using modern technology. In which all basic facilities will be provided. Modern technology will be used in the construction of these houses so that these houses can be made more safe and comfortable. Under this scheme, 50 thousand plots of one marla each and 50 thousand flats up to 450 square feet will be constructed and allotted. In this, the price of the plot will be kept at ₹ 100000 and the price of the flat will be kept at 6 to 8 lakh rupees.

  1. Under this scheme, cheap flats and plots will be provided to one lakh poor families.
  2. Under this scheme, poor people living in urban areas will be provided the facility to get houses at affordable prices.
  3. To avail the benefits of this scheme, the candidate will have to apply online.
  4. For this scheme, Haryana Government has given the option of flat in four districts namely Gurugram, Panchkula, Sonipat and Faridabad. Apart from this, option of both plot and flat has been given in the remaining districts.
  5. Under this scheme, all the basic facilities in the housing will be provided by the government.
  6. People of all castes and religions will be able to apply under this scheme, whose family’s annual income is less than Rs 180000.

Eligibility

  1. The applicant must be a native of Haryana.
  2. Only citizens of urban areas of Haryana can avail the benefit of this scheme.
  3. The annual income of the applicant should be less than Rs 180000.
  4. Those families who do not have their own house or are living in kutcha houses will be eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.
  5. There should not be any permanent house registered in the urban area in the name of the applicant or any member of his family.
  6. PM Awas Yojana beneficiaries cannot avail the benefits of this scheme.
